COVID-19 Saftey Measures

Our utmost priority is keeping our community members and staff safe. COVID-19 screening is conducted at the entrance, including temperature checks and a questionnaire. Masks or face coverings are mandatory inside the building and are supplied to all community members. There is enough space to allow for physical distancing in the building.

Anyone who is symptomatic or who has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 is required to self-isolate. We are providing isolation space in a Tier 2 area, a separate space within the Convention Centre where our nurses screen community members for symptoms of COVID-19.

Community Members who are feeling unwell will be moved to the Edmonton Isolation Facility run by the Boyle McCauley Health Centre. We are constantly adapting our services at Tipinawâw to keep community members and staff safe and adjust operations as needed.
